LOVE EVERYWHERE

This piece was made in collaboration with the Wick Poetry Center at Kent State University for their Mapping Akron project. These poets reflected on their experiences as locals of Akron, OH.

The poem featured is "Love Everywhere" by Terry Glidden. Upon reading, I was moved towards nostalgia and the dreamy quality of childhood. I wanted to create a sense of wonder within a heavy atmosphere. I used a combination of rough penwork and digital painting in order to create the final result.
